ISM is very pleased to have Michael Thompson, Ph. D. visiting for some very informative workshops. Below is the schedule of events with links for you to sign up if you wish to attend. Parent sessions are open to ISM parents and teachers only. As Dr. Thompson is one of the premier speakers on the topic of adolescent psychology, teachers are strongly encouraged to attend the after-school session for their grade level and may attend both sessions if they wish.

Sunday, Sep 7

  • 2-5pm – 2 sessions for parents: “Best Friends/Worst Enemies” and “The Pressured Child” – ISM to provide child-care during this session – FAT – SIGN UP HERE

  • 11:40am-12:40pm -Gr5/6 Assembly – FAT (Students go to 11:30 class first then teachers bring to FAT)
  • 2:00-3:00pm – Gr7/8 Assembly – FAT (Students go to first part of Block E then teachers bring to FAT)
  • 3:15-5:15pm – PS-6 Teachers – “Distinguishing Normal from Abnormal Development” – Little Theater
